Naftoport’s oil handling jetties are located in closed basins of Naftoport Oil Terminal of the North Port in Gdańsk. Basins are equipped with breakwaters and secured against oil spills with a permanent and pneumatic anti-spill barrier. The depth of the approach fairway is 17.5 m, width – 350 m, and length 7.2 km. Tankers up to 300,000 tons may call at the Terminal. Th maximum length of the vessel is up to 340 m and a draft of 15 m (jetty “T”). The limitation of the draft of vessels (15 m) depends on the depth of the fairway through the Danish Straits. The vessel are assisted to the jetties by the powerful and modern tug boats.
